Early June in our fair borough

New York City is a fun place to be in the summer. I can say that honestly, even though we rarely leave the 81 square miles of Brooklyn. Here are some photos from the first two weekends in June that, I hope show the better side of our fair borough.

Brighton Beach (home to not only a great beach, but also the largest Russian-speaking community outside of the former USSR) ... we had a beach picnic. This is something I do not recommend with young children, unless you are deficient in minerals.

Like Henry's hat. You have indians in Brooklyn? Never knew. Yummy looking popsisles.
