These photos confirm it ... our lives are not about us anymore

Kate and I used to post blogs about the fun things we were doing. Then it was the fun things we were doing with Elizabeth, who happened to add cuteness to our photos. Now, I've sadly realized, our lives can be documented by photos of our children because, well, our fun things have been replaced by their fun things. I'm not complaining, just stating a realization that our lives are forever changed...well, at least for 15 years or so.

Here are Henry and Hannah performing their monkey hygiene routine.

And here's a cheap way to keep the kids occupied for an hour. Shaving cream!

H got into a fight with some eye shadow. The eye shadow won.

Central PA weekend ... and beyond!

If Dutch Wonderful wasn't enough excitement for a weekend, we also joined family and thousands of college students in Central Pennsylvania for move-in weekend at Penn State. We didn't go specifically for move-in weekend, though, we went to see the wildlife at the Grange Fair. But the students added a welcome level of entertainment and another type of wildlife to study. Captions below if necessary.

A whole new world ... or at least a lot different than Brooklyn

I love the series of these two shots ... (as background, H's dairy intake was limited this trip)

But he seemed happy with a cone

I love his still-bowed legs

The train park in Hagerstown was closed, so we went to the playground instead
