For December, Elizabeth made gingerbread cookies. This was a two-day operation consisting of mixing, chilling, rolling, cutting, baking, icing, and decorating. By the end, I was tired, but Elizabeth was powered by the sugar she swiped from the dough, icing, and decorations. The kitchen has assumed a permanent state of stickiness. Regardless, the cookies were cute and reports indicate that they are tasty.
