Memorial Day weekend in Boston

All right, people. We have a lot of photos to get through, so I'll make this short. For the second year in a row we drove up to the Boston metro area for Memorial Day weekend and spent some time in the city and some time with family in Framingham. We also spent an inordinate amount of time with dinosaurs. Photos follow.

Every picture in this series is too cute (in my skewed opinion) not to share.

Here are more photos of Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, CT. We stopped here on the way up. It has one of the largest collection of dinosaur tracks in the world and was definitely worth the price of admission.

Exploring the Freedom Trail ... a red (mostly brick) path through downtown Boston that leads to 17 significant historic sites. Of those, we saw 12.

USS Constitution (a historic warship named by George Washington and also known as "Old Ironsides")

A short ferry ride later ...

... and we were exploring the Freedom Trail

Our trip ended in Boston Common, where there was a Memorial Day flag display and a friendly dog
