Mother's Day in DC ... and other things

Sup, faithful friends, family, and lonely web surfers who typed in something like 'what to do in DC on mother's day." Well, to answer your question, we didn't do all too much. Let's start with 'other things' part as mentioned in the title.

I've been trying to make tooth brushing more fun. And, except for me, it has been.
On the way to DC by way of a birthday party in Doylestown, we stopped by an Open House at a fire station in New Hope, PA. In addition to a jaws of life demonstration and fire trucks you could touch, they happened to have this awesomeness, which H absolutely loved....

Mother's Day started with a lovely breakfast in Opa and Grandma's in Alexandria. The kids wore Dusty out.
Finally, Mother's Day. Here's 3/4 of the fam outside the natural history museum.
And here's a separate 3/4. Looks like I'm trying to do math in my head.
We taught the kids about evolution. Sorry, Kansas Board of Ed
Three generations. E needs sunglasses and an over-the-shoulder purse
At home with "Cookie dough" popsicles (almond milk, choco chips, vanilla extract)
