The September 2014 edition of "At home in NYC"

Why, hello there. In this special and somewhat late edition of "At home in NYC," we bring you some photos from times past ... a few weeks ago ... when we were all younger and the weather was warmer.

Events in September included:

My half-birthday.

Soccer practice!

School begins!

We spent a few hours with Aunt Breanna and Uncle Brian at the Maker Faire in Queens (it's the 'Greatest Show and Tell on Earth' and was HUGE, but since Elizabeth threw up on the way there (motion sickness) and Henry had a cold and was a bit grumpy and then fell asleep in my arms, we cut our losses after seeing roughly 10% of the event.)

Walking in the Ragamuffin Parade, one of Bay Ridge's oldest traditions ... it's a kids' costume parade and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. (The costume idea started as H being E's doctor and treating her arm. Then, as you can see, it morphed into a vet clinic.)

One last time at Coney Island. Actually, this was at Brighton Beach (a Russian neighborhood a few blocks down the boardwalk) and there were still a few babushkas in the water.

Harvesting our crops ... this is a pretty grody looking carrot.

We FINALLY made a trip to the Statue of Liberty

H was into holding his face in place ... he's holding a smile now

Now he's holding open his eye
